Val Pavesich Catering Manager Silver Spur Fire Slideshow Silver Spur Memories Slideshow	The Silver Spur BBQ As most of you already know, The Silver Spur BBQ was completely destroyed by a fire early on the morning of April 30, 2008. While the exact cause is still undetermined, the fire began in the ceiling of the kitchen and rapidly consumed the entire building. The only section of the building not damaged by fire was the bar, though the water damage destroyed that as well. You'll be happy to hear the 47" flat screen remained untouched by both fire and water. In addition, the only item that survived in the dining room was "Woody", the Cigar Store Indian that greeted our guests. The building will have to be taken down. This experience has been incredibly sad for all of us. The Silver Spur has always been much more than just a restaurant, it was a home and you are our family. Everyone that walked through the front door was welcomed as part of the family. What makes the Silver Spur a truly remarkable place is the staff and our valued guests. Your emails are of tremendous support to us and we would love to continue receiving them until we re-open. Since all of our contact information was lost in the fire, we would love to begin rebuilding our contact list - please email or call us with phone numbers, email addresses, and/or mailing addresses. We have received hundreds of emails and they have been a huge help in our moment of need. Thank You cannot accurately express how we feel for all the support, but staying in contact would make the absence much less painful. We have updated our website to share this experience with our family - sharing pictures of the loss, which will provide a firsthand experience of recent events; pictures of happier days, and soon - pictures of the rebuilding process. There is a link below so guests can stay in touch with us and our phone number will continue to accept phone calls for catering events until the restaurant re-opens. Our building might not be available to our family, but our dedication and service to you continues to remain our number one concern.
